Conference Overview

Health Care Reform promises to change health care in America for both consumers and providers. How will it change your practice and the family planning field? Stay until the end of the 23rd annual Contraceptive Technology Conference and you'll find out as you hear Dr. Michael Policar, the go-to expert when it comes to how policy affects hands-on practice. Old Town Trolley Tour of Boston

Board the Old Town Trolley for a special tour through Boston's historic past and urban present. The trolley will depart from the hotel at 5:00 p.m. and take you past the charming sites of Boston including the Boston

Common, the Bunker Hill Monument, the site of the Boston Massacre, and much, much more. A stop at Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall will allow you time to select from many fine restaurants for dinner and to do some shopping. The tour will continue after dinner and return you to the hotel by 9:00 p.m. Tickets for the Old Town Trolley Tour of Boston are $34 (which does not include the cost of dinner) and may be purchased when registering for the conference. Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC)

Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC), including IUCs and implants, meet the needs of many women for high efficacy against unintended pregnancy, convenience, low side effect profiles, non-contraceptive benefits and patient acceptability. In spite of this, clinicians are often reluctant to recommend these methods due to myths and misconceptions related to medical eligibility and potential short and long-term effects. Join your colleagues at a training program on IMPLANON®. During the IMPLANON® Clinical Training Program attendees will learn important clinical data about IMPLANON® and patient counseling. This session includes a hands-on training for insertion and removal procedures as well as localization techniques. Completion of this course will allow the attendee to order IMPLANON® from an authorized distributor(s).

This session, which is sponsored by Merck, is not accredited for continuing education credit. The training is open to advanced practice clinicians with furnishing numbers or prescribing privileges in their state and to physicians only. Old Town Trolley Tour of Boston
Friday, April 15 • 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Board the Old Town Trolley for a special tour through Boston's historic past and urban present. The trolley will depart from the hotel at 5:00 p.m. and take you past the charming sites of Boston including the Boston
Common, the Bunker Hill Monument, the site of the Boston Massacre, and much, much more. A stop at
Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall will allow you time to select from many fine restaurants for dinner and to do some shopping. The tour will continue after dinner and return you to the hotel by 9:00 p.m.

Tickets for the Old Town Trolley Tour of Boston are $34 (which does not include the cost of dinner) and may be purchased when registering for the conference. Fees

Registrations must include full tuition payment to be accepted. Registrations faxed without payment will not be processed. Confirmation is sent by email if your completed registration form and payment are received one week before the conference begins.
